“The drama of FDA tyranny versus raw milk freedom continues from one state or province to another, almost like episodes from a dystopian TV series. First, the Amish farmer Dan Allgyer and his wife Rachel were forced to shut down their Pennsylvania farm after two years of harassment from federal agents for selling raw milk to a food club in the Washington D.C. area.”
In 1954, my father owned an individual dairy farm in Southeastern Colorado. The Government was proposing to outlaw Raw Milk. My Dad was very angry over the proposal, correctly believing that this proposal was really designed to force the small dairy farmer out of business. He argued over the dinner table that there was no scientific evidence whatsoever which proved that raw milk was dangerous.
Dad was further wary of government agencies like the Centers for Disease Control, which he viewed as an agency of political hacks rather than scientists.
At this time, we can readily say that my Dad was correct. Today, we know that the CDC is working very diligently to carry out the agenda of the New World Order.
Today, occult writings such as the Illuminati Card Game, warn us that the CDC is our sworn enemy, not our protector.
Now, let us return to our featured news story, to see how the Government ran roughshod over individual farmers.
“Is Monsanto’s milk man behind the FDA’s constant harassment? Here’s an excerpt from BoycottMonsanto.com to illustrate Michael Taylor’s –FDA Deputy Commissioner of Foods — revolving door history between Monsanto and the federal agency, and their collective war against small dairy farmers.”
Bill Schnoebelen makes the point very forcibly that many Government regulators come from the private industry they are supposed to regulate! This fact means that Government regulations are written, and are enforced, in ways which profit the private company and damage the individual person! Here, we see the suggestion that this Government drive against raw milk might be coming from a “regulator” who is very friendly with Monsanto!
But, there is more.
“Helping Monsanto devise the legal constructs to get the synthetic GMO hormone rBGH approved by the FDA and then guiding its approval during his tenure at the FDA in the 1990s. Drafting the agency’s draconian rBGH labeling laws that made it illegal for farmers and dairy companies to properly label their milk rBGH free.”
“These two excerpted items reveal dirty dairy dealings. Taylor was able to manipulate top federal and state officials to legislate against and actively pursue small dairy farms that simply labeled their commercially pasteurized milk as rBGH free or hormone free.”
The Global Elite designed this incestuous relationship between giant private corporations and Government regulatory agencies in order to guarantee a continuity of programs no matter which political party was in office, and in order to grant huge power to unelected officials, whose actions are completely above the reach of the victim.
What damage did Monsanto’s growth hormone cause?
“Monsanto’s growth hormone infected cows’ udders, destroying their health and shortening their lives. More antibiotics were ordered, attempting to offset the bad side effects from the growth hormone that synthetically forced more milk production from sickened cows, and passed puss into the milk of average unaware consumers. Today, roughly 40% of dairy cows are injected with rBGH, but non-hormone using dairy farmers have succeeded, after years of legal haggling, with having different states rescind Taylor lobbied laws that banned ‘hormone free’ labels on their milk.”
After having successfully battling Michael Taylor in many states, the “bleeding heart Liberal” President Obama, delivered a serious blow.
“Now Michael Taylor is back in government as the Obama administration’s food safety czar, and he is in FDA commissioner Margaret Hamburg’s ear as the White House top food safety adviser to the FDA … Taylor’s track record with hassling small dairy farmers has given him the connections and techniques for continuing his suppression of all things not GMO or rBGH.”
The Plan of the Elite will one day fulfill Bible prophecy, a most sobering one, the Fourth Seal Judgment:

If the forces of Antichrist can wreak this kind of havoc over the foodstuffs, they must control food planting, food production and food distribution. Giant Corporations like Monsanto are exercising this kind of control. Their plants do not produce seed which can reproduce, their milk is contaminated and their other food stuffs are not as healthy as natural foods.
Already, many consumers cannot buy fruit and vegetables which are NOT genetically modified. Individual farmers trying to produce and distribute healthy foods are beset by legions of Monsanto farmers.

GLUE-Y FOODS & Tracking Health History
In 1979, approx. age 27, I quit milk because I figured out on my own it was mucus-causing. Eggs I had quit as a teenager because they gave me terrible stomach aches. In later years, early 30’s, I noticed steamed brown rice made me feel very weak after eating it so it never became a “favorite food” (didn’t have that problem with red potatoes or sweet potatoes).
But then I was born “drowning in mucus” (1950’s), per my Mother who said of all her eight kids, I was the only one with that problem. She said it was normal for the nurses to come in the room, right after birth of all her kids, to suction mucus out of their noses & mouths, & that was the end of it. But for me, she said they kept coming & coming & coming to incessantly suction out mucus. I told her, “You must have eaten too much cheese while pregnant with me.” I was joking but, ewww, she didn’t like that! (that something SHE may have done could have actually effected the outcome of the health of her baby. Total disconnect).
She also said I cried all the time as a baby, more than all the other seven siblings, & that I was very collicky (obviously I could not digest whatever they were feeding me… bottled cow’s milk? …”baby cereals”?). I read in the late 1980s in Natural Hygiene literature that a new baby’s stomach lining is like a sieve & solids will sift through the sieve & into the bloodstream, a very bad thing! (early natural “leaky gut”!) Babies should not be fed “baby cereals” — a mush of whatever that I saw Mom make for the later babies. In Scripture (Bible) babies were nursed until they were up to six years old!
Also, within six months of birth, per Mom, I had the measles twice (including Rubella), which a doctor told me in 1994, “Your troubles began RIGHT THEN & THERE.” (He, himself, had had measles five times as a kid. Totally not normal, as he said ONCE should have made us immune to further outbreaks.)
Before I ever started school, maybe age 4, I remember excruciating ear aches & crying & crying & crying.
I never had any hair on my head until I was five years old. The joke from the grown-ups was that it must be due to me constantly wearing my beloved kid-style “cowboy hat” keeping my hair from growing.
First grade, age 5-6, I got chicken pox & was forced to stay home & miss the school Christmas party. I was so bummed about that!
Around 7-8 years old I had terrible pains in my legs. The parents said, “It’s growing pains, go back to bed.” OK. Good. So I would lie in bed & repeat to myself over & over, “This pain is good. It means I am growing.” Problem is, I never grew beyond 5-feet, lol. Still a short runt.
By 9-10, I had excruciating stomach aches. White gluey “Milk of Magnesia” was the supposed solution provided by the relatives.
Beginning age 11 excruciating menstrual cramps every time for the next 27-28 years. Mom being healthy as a horse, could not relate nor validate: “Wellll, I don’t understaaaand. I Neeeeever had THAT problem!”
By 11-12, enter the beginning of 27 future years of chronic strep throat that finally never came back after a 21-day water-only fast in 1988 (age 35) & half-a-dozen shorter home fasts (5-7 days) over the next three years.
Early 20’s: 1973. My back broke out in HUGE welts out of the blue. Miserable! Totally bizarre. Get some Calamine Lotion!
Mid-20’s: 1975. Came down with asthma in the SAME DAY after hiking in the California woods with my sister & her friends. Couldn’t breathe for two weeks. Slept with my head hanging off the bed trying to get air. My sister finally asked, Do you want to go to the doctor? (I was broke.) Yes! He Dx’d Asthma & Rx’d Marax (horrible stuff! Gave me the shakes!) Took those off & on only when needed, broken in halves or fourths, for the next five years until I moved back to the South & the asthma went away.
Late 20’s: Summer 1979: Had to get a Gamma-Globulin shot along with all the other employees when a gay guy at work came down with jaundice & turned yellow. (Was that shot a turning point for the worse? What concoction of other people’s blood was in it?)
Enter Later 1979 & continuing, long episodes of terrifying, crushing exhaustion, literally unable to move (long stressful hours at work included). I used to say to myself, “It feels as if an elephant is standing on my chest, crushing me.” I literally thought I was dying.
–Beginning Late 1980 & a new job: What I called “food comas” as I felt like I would pass out/fall asleep sitting at my desk after eating. Miserable trying to work feeling like that!
Early-30s: By now I had a long list of symptoms that I typed out for the chiropractor under whose care I was now taking a ton of “food supplements.” He had said 12-18 months & all would be better. Wrong! SIX YEARS of food supplements did NO good, I got worse & worse.
–For over a YEAR I had a breakout of hard-like mini-cysts all over my face. I literally “hid from the world” by working at night & leaving before dawn to rush home & hide some more. Obviously my hormones & immune system were seriously messed up. A visit to a dermatologist was a waste of time.
–My BP was always very low, 60/90. When this chiro would check my BP, he would sock me in the arm & exclaim out loud, “ARE YOU EVEN ALIVE?” (Lol. He was a really cool older guy but he only knew what he knew.)
–He took red/white cell blood tests repeatedly over those “food supplement” years. My red/whites were always whacked out. Near the end he concluded, “You have some sort of CHRONIC INFECTION that just WON’T GO AWAY.”
Indeed I did, but I wouldn’t be given a name for it until six years later, 1992 (“Chronic Epstein-Barr Reactivated” & a few months after that, “CFIDS,” by a different doctor. The real name for CFIDS, btw, is “Myalgic Encephalomyelitis”).

Bottom Line: It’s good to get your early life history, from babyhood, from your Mother in order to piece together your physical health profile! It paints an interesting history & helps solve some of the mystery.
This is terrible! Read this comment from a vegan restaurant owner who was bullied for five years in “Small City” (USA? He doesn’t say where). It sounds a lot like “Organized Stalking”… and evidently from other vegans! What on earth is wrong with these people?

Thank you VERY MUCH for addressing this issue.
People who harass others as you describe here are against personal freedom.
I owned and operated a very pro, mainstream and VERY successful vegan establishment. I will say it raised the bar big time in this city and caused a stir. I was harassed all 5 years. Cyber harassment, in store visits where the perpetrator would hunt me down in the kitchen and say nasty things in front of a packed lunch hour, sending their friends and kids in to disrupt the busy hours and pester staff. A few vegan blogs in the town went after us because I guess I crashed their ‘exclusivity party’ of being mainstream and attracting a mainstream downtown crowd.
Sorry, I think of the animals and my plan was to get cruelty free to as many people as possible and it worked. It wasn’t an issue of non vegan items because I am vegan for 2 decades now. It was pure hate and jealousy of unhappy people USING vegan as a baseball bat of self hate. This town is known for this type of thing I found out too late. A portion were other non vegan businesses who were insanely jealous of our success, our professionalism (27 years in the food biz) and I quote ‘You aren’t from here’. Still 50% were from vegan haters.
I was on the streets doing vegan outreach when half of them were in diapers.
Many regulars saw and witnessed this as I would often print out the hate emails and nasty, ludicrous reviews saying they ‘were attacked by me’ which is a cyber lie. NEVER in my long career anywhere had I ever seen this happen to a business.
Well it became too depressing and I was walking to work everyday worried and stressed out. I was getting suicidal from the never ending bullying so one Spring day I put my exit plan into action and set a closing date 5 months ahead. I couldn’t go to the press, as many suggested, because it would just draw more negative energy to my life and my business.
I was alone, suffering and didn’t want to burden close customers about it either. I have returned to my metropolis and know this will not happen in my hometown because I have worked in the industry here for 2 decades and never seen such. Also I am a known chef here and well liked for my customer service.
I was sorry for leaving so many great customers behind but now I can fly free.
Vegan against vegan hate closed my business in that smallish city and that is sad.
I have discussed this with a few international vegan restaurant owners and they experience it once in awhile and all along were aware of what I was going through.
Their suggestion “Pack it in and move back to your big city and open there.” I am in that process now.
Lastly I will say as raw and vegan become more on the radar, the haters look like old dried up barnacles on the ‘Goodship Vegan’. All the best to you.
I hardly ever hang around the online health-nut scene, but the past few days I was catching up on any new Natural Hygiene news & wow, it’s a war out there. Evidently there’s a forum called 30 Bananas A Day that follows the 80/10/10 (Doug Graham raw fooder) diet & is run by a few bullies who go around trashing any other videos, forums, people, etc. who disagree with them.
They got one guy’s YouTube channel banned simply because he disagreed with their diet. His channel was anti80/10/10 or similar. The 30 Bananas people bombarded his channel with negative clicks so YouTube would ban it.
Twenty-five years ago I always heard it was the meat-eaters who were the aggressors in life. So what’s with the raw fooders acting like bullies?
Then there’s the paleo/caveman meat-eating people who are antagonistic toward the Natural Hygiene people. (I remember when Chet Day jumped ship in the 1990’s & became very anti-Natural Hygiene & anti-Rev. Malkmus/Hallelujah.Acres, & became a caveman diet promoter & Zen freak).
Then there’s the vegans fighting vegans.
WHO CARES what other people eat! Don’t people have better things to do with their time than picking fights?
Psychopaths & “Bizzare-o’s” seem to be taking over the health food movement!
There’s some former General Hospital actor named David who goes by another name now (A-something) who teaches people to eat rotted meat with feces spread on it (I kid you not!) Worse, some people actually tried it!
Then there’s several women at one forum complaining about Loren Lockman & his fasting retreat (formerly in Panama, now up & moved to Costa Rica unexpectedly) being a vicious bully & thief (before they figured it out themselves, just from their descriptions I said to myself, “That guy is a narcissist!” aka psychopath. One of the ladies finally posted the description of a psychopath so I was glad to see they figured it out).
What a mess! These stories are enough to drive a person to drink. So I think I’ll grab a Twinkie, a smoke, & a cup of coffee & forget it! Lol. (j/k)
Then there were a few threads & comments trying to demonize water-fasting (nothing new there!) making it sound extremely dangerous (QuackWatch anybody?) & making it sound like people are dropping dead like flies from fasting, which is ridiculous.
HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of people have done long fasts (21+ days) & are very alive & well! How many have died after a fast in 70 years? Ten? Twenty? The number is macro-micro-miniscule in comparison.
Anybody who dies after fasting was either half-dead already, did not re-feed properly (ate too much too soon &/or ate the wrong type foods), did not stay in bed long enough like they should, did not drink enough water like they should (WARM water during fasting is much easier & soothing than room-temperature water, btw), &/or went out doing SOMETHING they shouldn’t have been doing.
Switch over to a mostly fruit/veggies diet months BEFORE a long fast & you’ll be fine. Also, read read read read everything about fasting that you can beforehand so you know exactly what to expect. One fasting article I just read was saying fear ruins many people’s fasts. What a shocker! Anybody who has fear simply DID NOT DO THEIR HOMEWORK IN ADVANCE!
In the “old days,” Hannah Allen’s book, “Your First Fast, What to Expect” was the primer, along with all of Dr. Shelton’s books, TC Fry’s publications, Paul Bragg’s fasting book, & last but not least, SCRIPTURE! Knowing that God himself invented fasting, & that Daniel, Elijah, & Jesus all did 21-40-day fasts, should dispel fear from anyone!
Some tips I learned in advance of my first 21-day water-only fast:
–Your feet WILL get cold so bring a heating pad if one is not provided.
–Your body will push toxins out to your outer extremities (hands, feet) so when my wrists & ankles broke out in itchy red spots, I knew EXACTLY what was happening & WHY & was thrilled to see it!
–Your urine will turn dark as your body begins to unload a lifetime of toxic buildup. So when my urine turned a dark rust-colored orange I was ecstatic! It’s working! It’s working!
–You will not sleep as deep or as long as you may be used to. Just plan on it & think REST vs. sleep.
–Being woken up when you ARE in a good deep sleep by talkative maids (Shangri La) & early-bird doctor rounds (at Goldhamer’s place): What a pain! Pick a fasting place where they PROMISE not to wake you up!
–Having to provide your first-every-day (of your fast) urine sample at Goldhamer’s place was also a pain!
–You will be hypersensitive to noise so make sure you have quiet surroundings &/or earplugs (there was a tomato packing plant near the Shangri La in Bonita Springs when I was there in the 1980’s & the clanging & banging all night was a real pain! I had to keep the windows shut vs. being able to enjoy the night air).
–A decade later at the Center for Conservative Therapy aka CCT (12-day fast) at their prior smaller center, I had the room next to the door & sidewalk. Big mistake! Other idiot guests constantly slammed the door going in & out & talked loud while walking up & down the sidewalk!
–Don’t bring “stuff to do,” you won’t feel like it anyway. I did read a lot but that was all. Forget writing letters to folks back home. If anything, bring postcards, short & sweet! but No Commitments!
–The first three days of the 1980’s fast I was VERY nauseous & couldn’t even move one inch on the bed. I never threw up, though, but just kept sleeping. After three days, no more nausea at all; & I was never nauseous on the later 12-day fast whatsoever, nor on the 5-7 day fasts I did at home.
–Weakness was the biggest problem to endure. Deep deep seated weakness in arms & legs. (How do people fast & go to work? Or how did Paul Bragg back in his day hike 10 miles while fasting? It’s beyond me!) I get very weak when fasting & it’s a real pain when people (CCT) who have never fasted say things like, “Everybody gets weak” (how would they know?), or “You need to get up everyday & sit in the loungechair outside to get some fresh air” (Shangri La). NOT!
–Fuzzy tongue detox. Plan on it. It’s a good sign! Bring electric toothbrush & dry bush frequently from bed &/or “wash your tongue” with a wet washrag.
–Don’t plan on showering everyday. It’s too draining & hot water will make it worse. Bring babywipes &/or a quick bird bath. It’s only for a week or two or three. You’ll survive!
–Bring your own gadget to warm your drinking water if they don’t provide warm water (even room temp water is too cold). Warm water goes down SO MUCH EASIER while fasting.
FWIW, Natural Hygiene is not the same as Vegan or “Raw Foodism,” though I am guilty of referring to the whole lot as “raw fooders” or health-nuts.
WHAT IS ORGANIC? GMOs 101

Food combining is the selection, preparation and consumption of foods which are compatible with our digestive physiology for our meals; this greatly enhances our digestion and promotes optimum health. Everyone soon benefits from this simple practice.
Why Practice Food Combining?
We need to practice proper food combining because constitutionally we are not omnivores. We are designed to eat simple meals of primarily one kind of food at a time which is suited to our fruitarian constitution, as we would procure in nature. While mono meals (one type of food per meal) yield the best results, simple meals of 2 or 3 different compatible foods also work well.
We have digestive limitations–we cannot completely digest haphazard and complex food combinations, as evidenced by indigestion, flatulence, acid reflux, diarrhea, vomiting, irritable bowel, body odors, colds, flu, pimples, dandruff, chronic pain, fatigue, earaches, colds, sore throats, fevers and countless other signs of toxemia. This is because meals of improperly combined foods limit or negate digestion–the foods will decompose or rot in the gut, poisoning us and potentially leading to irritable bowel, inflammatory bowel disease and many other maladies.
If we have chronic gastrointestinal gas, queasiness, bloating and body odors we are not healthy, even if we feel “fine” in some ways. Toxic matter and gases in the body erode our health, sooner or later leading to disease and suffering. Those who can seemingly eat “anything” are, ultimately, not going to get away with it. In fact, hygienic physiologists agree that over ninety percent of all known common maladies and major diseases are caused by autointoxication, i.e., self-poisoning, mainly from eating diets which are incompatible with our physiological constitution and systemic capabilities. The old Chinese saying holds true: “Disease enters through the mouth.”
The practice of food combining is supported by overwhelming scientific evidence. During the United States Civil War era a medical doctor named Beaumont performed many clinical tests on a man who, by virtue of an unusual injury, had a temporary hole extending to the exterior of his abdomen which afforded direct sampling of his stomach contents under various eating conditions. Those observations were used subsequently by 19th century physiologists Dr. John H. Tilden and Dr. Herbert M. Shelton in the formulation of food combining guidelines. Dr. Shelton’s classic book, Food Combining Made Easy, has helped millions. Furthermore, food combining instructions date back to ancient times, as revealed by Kosher dietary laws and ancient yogic texts.
The Physiology of Digestion
Specific digestive enzymes are required to digest specific food components, i.e., to split certain molecules into assimilable and usable components. Herewith are the physiological basics of digestion with regard to food combining.
Starch digestion begins in the mouth. Salivary amylase enzymes/juices are secreted when we chew starchy foods. Therefore, we must chew starchy food well, mixing our saliva with the food (the process known as “insalivation”). Our salivary enzymes are highly alkaline and their functionality is weakened when mixed with acids. When alkaline and acid enzymes are mixed the pH’s cancel out and digestion is impaired. Therefore, we must not consume acid fruits with starchy foods.
Strong acidic digestive enzymes (hydrochloric acid and pepsin) are secreted in the stomach when we eat high-protein foods (e.g., nuts, seeds and avocado). If we eat starchy foods with high-protein foods, the alkaline salivary enzymes will mix with the acidic stomach enzymes in the stomach, curtailing digestion and causing the starches to ferment and proteins to putrefy in the gut. Thus, it is obvious that nuts and white potatoes or grains cannot digest well together. This also applies to the conventional combinations of meat with potatoes, pasta with meatballs, pizza with cheese and meat, hamburgers and hot dogs on buns, meat and bread sandwiches with mayonnaise and butter, cereal with milk, and rice with tofu or beans.
Fruits are predigested by the ripening action of the sun and their enzymes. As such, they require little digestion in the body. Their nutrients need to be absorbed into the bloodstream within 10 to 60 minutes; otherwise, the sugars will warm up and ferment. The denser, bulkier fruits which have a bit of fat, such as bananas, require the longest detention time in the stomach–about an hour. There they are mixed with a small amount of bodily water and gradually released into the small intestine. Fruits digest best by themselves or with “neutral” green vegetables. The “neutral” vegetables (such as celery, lettuce and kale) are so called because their starch, protein and fat content is low and, thus, their digestion will not interfere with the digestion of fruit. In fact, the inclusion of greens with fruit meals generally aids digestion by virtue of their fiber and complimentary nutrient content. Energetically, greens with fruit is known to have a balancing effect.
The fat in fatty foods (most of which are also high in protein) is primarily digested in the upper part of the small intestine. Fat is emulsified (broken down into small, assimilable droplets) by the strong alkaline enzymes in bile. Bile is made in the liver, sent to the gallbladder and secreted into the duodenum. When large complex meals are eaten, the food will be held up in the stomach for many hours and the fat will likely become rancid and rendered unusable before is can be acted upon by bile.
The complete digestion of starch, protein and fat requires time–approximately 1 to 2 hours for raw food meals and several hours longer for cooked foods. The digestion of these nutrients also requires full-strength enzymatic action. If starchy and fatty high-protein foods are ingested with water, beverages and watery fruit, the additional liquid content will dilute the concentration of the digestive enzymes, reducing their effectiveness.
If sweet, non-acid fruit is eaten with large portions of starchy and/or fatty high-protein foods, they will be detained for more than an hour in the stomach and will transit more slowly through the bowel. Their sugars will warm up and ferment, potentially causing all sorts of problems, including irritable bowel, candida albicans overgrowth, gassiness, diarrhea, vomiting and brain fog. Furthermore, simultaneous high concentrations of sugar and fat in the bloodstream causes problems with blood sugar metabolism, such as diabetes.
If small portions of starchy and/or fatty high-protein foods are eaten with large portions of sweet fruits or juices, this hinders the body’s ability to sense the presence of the starch, protein and fat. The digestive enzymes they require may not be secreted, and fermentation and putrefaction will likely occur. As an example, nuts/seeds/butters/avocado added to sweet, non-acid fruit smoothies will not be digested.
The combining of minimal amounts of acid fruits with fatty-protein foods (such as in a salad dressing) tends to digest well for some people because the acids in the fruits aid in the breaking down of protein molecules.
Test It Yourself and You’ll Quickly Know
The validity of the food combining guidelines (or “rules”) has been readily confirmed by everyone who has diligently applied them. A properly combined, alkalizing, low-fat, vegan diet of 75 percent or more raw, vegan foods will clear up most digestive maladies in short order.
In my own case, my g.i. system quieted down within 24 hours of adopting a fruit-based vegan diet and applying food combining protocol. I felt wonderfully well and healing was rapid. Previously, during my long siege of ulcerative colitis, my g.i. system had been a virtual erupting volcano when eating. Countless others have experienced similar relief of their g.i. ills. Everyone who adheres to these guidelines, avoiding overeating and incorporating other essential elements of healthful living, sooner or later derives the benefits of excellent digestion, absence of body odors, minimal or no gas, inoffensive feces, effortless defecation, clear urine, clearer skin, eyes and mind, more balanced composure, ideal weight level, greater physical stamina, faster healing, better sleep and youthful vitality.
Always follow food combining guidelines to a “t.”
* Eat melons alone. Exception: they may be juiced with celery and leafy greens.
* Eat all other sweet and acid fruits only on an empty stomach with or without green neutral vegetables and/or cucumbers.
* Do not eat acid fruits (e.g., citrus, pineapple, mango, berries, kiwi, tomato) with non-acid sweet fruits (e.g., apple, pear, grape, banana, dates, papaya).
* Eat acid fruits at least one-half hour before non-acidic sweet fruits.
* A minimal amount of acid fruits generally digests fairly well with avocado, nuts, seeds and young coconut (whole, or blended into dressings).
* Do not eat non-acid sweet fruits with or after fatty food meals.
* Do not eat non-acid sweet fruits with or after starchy meals.
* Don not eat acid or sweet fruits with or after cooked food meals.
* All vegetables and cucumbers combine well with any fruit except whole melon.
* Avoid or minimize strong herbs and vegetables that are bitter (e.g. eggplant, chicory, endive), sharp (e.g. arugula, dandelion, mustard), high in oxalic acid (e.g. chard, rhubarb, parsley, beet greens) and irritating (e.g. garlic, onions, radish, chile peppers, oregano)–they can paralyze the flow of digestive enzymes and the stomach.
Fats & Proteins
* Digestion is enhanced when nuts, seeds and avocado are eaten with green neutral vegetables and/or cucumbers, as additional digestive juices are secreted.
* Nuts and seeds can be eaten together.
* Raw nuts and seeds become much more digestible and lower in fat when they have been soaked and germinated/sprouted. However, not all nuts are viable (capable of germinating).
* Avoid combining nuts/seeds with avocado and coconut.
* Do not eat fatty high-protein foods (nuts, seeds, avocado and coconut) with sweet fruit or starchy foods (squash, tubers/potatoes, Jerusalem artichokes, carrots, mature peas, grains, mature coconut meat). Exception: a minimal amount of avocado combines fairly well with starchy foods.
* Avocado combines well with any kind of vegetable and non-sweet fruit (bell peppers and cucumbers), and fairly well with squash, tubers/potatoes, grains and acid fruits.
* Starchy foods combine well with all vegetables and fairly well with minimal amounts of avocado.
* Sweet peas, sweet corn and young, fresh carrots are non-starchy; older ones are starchy; these combine with all vegetables, squashes, potatoes and minimal amounts of avocado.
* Do not eat starchy foods with acid or sweet fruits or with fatty high-protein foods, except avocado in moderation.
* Some fresh squashes are low in starch (especially zucchini); most other squashes are starchy; these combine with all vegetables, potatoes and minimal amounts of avocado.
* Sweet potatoes and yams contain some starch and become sweeter as they are cooked; these combine with all vegetables, squashes, white potatoes, grains and minimal amounts of avocado.
* Sprouted grains are only somewhat more digestible than cooked grains; these combine with all vegetables, squashes, potatoes and minimal amounts of avocado.
* Legumes/beans are poorly digested because of their high protein and starch content.
* Legumes/beans combine with vegetables and minimal amounts of avocado.
* Sprouted legumes/beans are only somewhat more digestible than when eaten fresh and raw.
* Fresh green beans are non-starchy and low in protein and combine well with all vegetables, squash, tubers/potatoes and avocado.
Put It Into Practice
Proper food choices and combinations bring a sensible routine to daily eating. This makes life easier and better because we soon feel great, have more energy, spend less time preparing meals, attain our healthiest weight, are clean inside and out and have more sex appeal. After a week or two of practice, it becomes a natural and automatic habit.
Keep it simple. Space out your meals, allowing time for your system to digest, assimilate, build, detoxify, evacuate and rest. Based on our digestive physiology and bodily rhythms, the best meal sequencing is 2 to 4 fruit-and-greens meals during the day. You could follow that by a glass of raw vegetable juice, then, at least one-half hour later, a properly combined dinner of vegetables, sweet potatoes and/or squash and, optionally, one fatty food, i.e., avocado, nuts or seeds. Note that it is not necessary and, in many cases, it is unhealthful to eat fatty food every day. Furthermore, it is OK to have a dinner of simply more fruit or fruit and greens. Never eat starches and nuts/seeds on a given day even and never eat sweet or acid fruit after eating cooked food, even if spaced apart by many hours.
Continue studying, observing and refining your practice. When optimized, your digestion and elimination should be silent and effortless, and healthful eating should be a total pleasure.
