Firstly, 42 days jives with Natural Hygiene teaching that the body operates in cycles of 7 and 10 days, so if you want to water-fast (or in this case “Breuss-Juice Feast”), shoot for increments of 7 or 10, such as:
7 days – 1 week
10 days
14 days – 2 weeks
20 days
21 days – 3 weeks
30 days, etc.
Breuss’ 42 days would be 6 weeks (7×6). So it totally makes sense to me. :)
Secondly, the body “absorbing the tumor” is also a Natural Hygiene teaching but NH calls it AUTOLYSIS:

And I’m guessing the radishes in the Breuss-Juice provide the “hyperthermia” aka “natural radiation” factor that other protocols provide via cayenne/capsacin, hot peppers, etc.
CancerTutor thinks Breuss protocol “…works because cancer cells are very inefficient at processing glucose and other sugars and that the formula literally starves the cancer cells to death by depriving them of glucose and other sugars. Normal cells can survive on much less glucose and other sugars because they are much more efficient at processing these items.”
However, CancerTutor rates Breuss as only “being effective on newly diagnosed cancer patients who do not have a fast-growing cancer and their cancer has not spread significantly!! I’m not sure why he thinks that since ALL the cancer protocols include a change to an all-natural whole-food diet &/or juice diet. Maybe he means don’t do juicing alone but add some other protocols as well.
Me, I would always trust God’s truth first & water-fasting (rapid healing) or “juice feasting” (slower healing) are at the top! Then build on that foundation with additional things.
In the Breuss book description it says:
“Although fasting [Juice-Feasting is technically not Fasting] SEEMS IRRATIONAL when the body is wasting away [from illnesses], Breuss’ patients felt MORE ALERT AND ENERGETIC as soon as they began the treatment. They continued to feel well throughout their fast [Juice-

Exactly! Remember, God thinks, designs, & operates the OPPOSITE of how stupid humans think. Ten-course meals are the stuff of Dark Ages kings & royalty who were usually sickly & insane & died with a huge turkey leg in their hand as they fell face first into their plate, lol.
The reason a person feels “more alert & energetic” is because they STOPPED BURDENING THEIR BODY & DIGESTIVE SYSTEM with a constant intake of food. Eating/digesting consumes an enormous amount of vital energy. Stop the food & all that bodily energy will naturally divert itself to healing & cleaning out the crud/tumors/whatever.

Evidently the English version of this book (further above) is not as comprehensive as the German & Serbian versions, per reviews. Some people prefer Gerson to Breuss protocol. One doctor in Kuwait, Waleed Alessa, gives 5 patient reports with mixed results in the Comments at Amazon. He said it takes longer than 42 days. However, another lady wrote:

RUDOLF BREUSS CANCER TREATMENT
Rudolf Breuss, a healing practitioner from Austria developed the following cancer treatment with good results.
Cancer can only live on the protein of solid food. Therefore, if you drink nothing but vegetable juice and teas for 42 days the cancerous tumor dies off while the body continues to do well.
This therapy can be done with either homemade juices or with fermented vegetable juices from a health food store.
Do not drink more than half a liter a day. The cocktail is made up with beets, carrots, celery roots, black radishes and potato.
300 grams of Red Beets
100 grams Carrot
100 grams Celery root
approximately 30 grams Black Radish
The potato is optional except for liver cancer where it plays an important part.
Mix all these vegetables in a juicier and then strain to get rid of any sediment. Any solids may provide a breeding ground for cancer. Before starting the cure try one quarter liter of juice per day with your normal meal. Take this juice by the spoonful.
Don’t swallow right away and salivate it well. The instructions are to take one half cup of cold kidney tea first thing in the morning.
Then 30 to 60 minutes later take two cups warm herb tea made from St. John’s Wort, Peppermint and Lemon Balm. After another 30 to 60 minutes take a little vegetable juice and salivate well before swallowing.
Fifteen to 30 minutes later take another sip of vegetable juice. You should take some juice 10 to 15 times throughout the morning but only when you feel like it.
In between, drink warm or cold sage tea without sugar, as much as you like. At noon take one half cup of kidney tea and again before retiring at night. In the afternoon take a few sips of tea.
Any liquid should be sipped and well salivated. Kidney tea should be taken only during the first three weeks of the treatment. Along with this and throughout the time of therapy drink one cup of cold Cranesbill tea (geranium robertianum) per day.
Cranesbill contains a little radium. Sipping small quantities of tea and juice stimulates the flow of saliva and reduces the workload of the intestines.
For cancer of the bones and lungs, prepare a tea of Plantain (plantago major), Icelandic Moss, Lungwort, ground Ivy and Mullein. It does not matter if you can’t get them all.
Steep for 10 minutes and drink as much of this tea as you like, the more the better. In the case of tuberculosis you should also take one teaspoon of plantain seed along with a little water or tea.
During the complete treatment you should not take any food other than the vegetable juice mixture.

I am not a doctor nor a “nutritional counselor,” but only a very part-time “health news blogger.” Therefore, I wouldn’t know what to tell you re “water-fluid patient.” All I know is that when detoxing things can get worse before they get better as the body throws off accumulated toxins. Please confer with natural health doctors for serious concerns (such as Drs. Haag & Vetrano in Texas, USA, etc.)

FP reply: A website link to this “Dr. Thomas” would be more legitimate than an email address. Therefore I removed part of it & cannot recommend such mysterious unknown people. Any doctor that is legit would have a website & full credentials info & full contact, location, etc.
I received another comment re some other doctor who supposedly promotes hemp, & with a strange webs.com site (not “real” domain-owned websites), & right at the top it said the guy was a “healer AND A SORCERER”!! Pfff! Needless to say, that comment went into the Trash heap! This is a Christian site & I will not promote SORCERERS, nor New Age nor anything unbiblical.
Whether hemp oil cures cancer I don’t know. As a plant it might help but people will have to investigate that for themselves.
